YourStory and Playo is bringing the Startup Sports League, one-of-a-kind event to help you exercise more than your brain cells. Time to give the groaning bean bags respite, and the laptops some snooze time as you pick up your sneakers instead. So go gather your team, do the Haka and show the ecosystem what your startup’s ‘team’ spirit is really about. The sports league promises to level the playing field like never before; this is one place where it will not matter whether you are bootstrapped or you raised Series B!
A two day startup sports marathon for 1000+ participants followed by a fun filled interactive Sports Night.
The Startup Sports League Hustle 5K Run aims to celebrate this spirit of competing with yourself and pushing yourself harder towards your goals. This run is all about you and has one single cause -- championing yourself.
Football matches will be played on artificial turf through 3 days of the tournament and also under lights on 5-a-side sized fields. Joga Bonito in the true sense!
The shorter, quicker and action filled version of Cricket will be played with 6 players on each side on artificial turf.
A game of badminton will not get better than this! The tournament will see a doubles format. All the action will happen in an indoor badminton arena spreading over 2 days!
Throwball tournament will 4-a-side format (mixed doubles with 2 women and men each per team). This will be a shorter and crisper format of the sport with some additional rules to suit the smaller court size.
In this three-a- side format, Wow us with your ball-handling, shooting, passing, dribbling, dunking, shot-blocking, and rebounding skills and score the winning field goal.
All yea gladiators, join us for the best sports-party ever!! Network your way through interactive panel sessions, fireside chats and the award ceremony while downing a few beers to toast your day’s on-field conquests. And as always, we save the best for the last – witness an epic Investors vs. Founders on-field futsal match – no red card rules applies on this one
We are going old school here! Join in for exciting fun events conducted at the venue like Lagori and Tug O’ War. The venue also hosts a bunch of other activities like wall climbing, paintball, laser tag, bowling, carting, fitness sessions and physio sessions – feel free to take your pick from a host of activities.
