PRODUCT‍

The next-generation IoT device enables quick, accurate and non-destructive internal quality grading of fresh food, thereby enabling retailers to reduce inventory losses and also better forecast the shelf life. It indicates internal spoilage, ripeness, and shelf life protection, thereby enabling the delivery of the finest quality fresh food to  customers. ‍

FOUNDERS‍

Rubal Chib, the CEO and Co-founder, comes with 8+ years exp of IoT Product Development and has worked at Havells, Cube26, Kisanraja before starting qZense Labs

Srishti Batra, the Co-Founder and CTO holds a PhD in Computational Biology (NCBS-TIFR).

‍TRACTION‍

The startup has raised $255 K from HAX, Entrepreneur First (London, India & Singapore)and SOSV. Paid pilots with Licious, Zomato, Big basket, Mahindra Agri Solutions and WayCool are underway. While the startup already has built grading solutions for apples, pomegranates, grapes and tomatoes, it has the capacity to build and add training capabilities for new fresh produce in two to three months time frame with the current team size.
