Techstars Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. The weekend events are centered on action, innovation, and education. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through testing, business model development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos to a panel of potential investors and local entrepreneurs.
Participants are challenged with building functional startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks.

It is considered as 54 hours Hackathon for Entrepreneurship.
Participations: 20 teams, 6-7 members per team.
Day 1
The event kick-starts in the evening of Friday where 120+ young entrepreneurs present their awesome ideas and business plans. Top 16 ideas who got the maximum number of votes formed a team.
Day 2
16 teams of budding entrepreneurs work diligently on their idea for 16 hours straight. They were given an opportunity to present their ideas in front of other teams. Mentors carefully analyze the idea and provide the teams with 'Success Mantras' to get them through thick and thin. After a round of cross-questioning the teams, mentors devised a framework for every team to overcome the shortcomings. The mentor interaction session greatly helps the teams and truly lays the foundation for all their future endeavors!
Day 3
The day every participant of Startup weekend waits for, the day of results. All the teams finalize their pitches and PPT's. Before the final pitch in front of the Judges, every team is given a chance to have a mock pitch in front of the mentors available in the morning. Final pitching starts in the evening in front of Judges. Every team has 5 minutes to pitch their idea which is followed by questions by Judges for 3-5 minutes.
